The WBS PhD programme is the largest in South Africa and one of the most highly regarded on the continent. We seek out and bring together top candidates from across Africa to address important topics in their PhD research that are relevant to the advancement of business and society on our continent.

Philanthropy is a growing field of study globally that has gained attention across many universities. We are proud to offer the continent’s first specialist post graduate programme in the field.

Make the pursuit of knowledge your ultimate goal with the Master of Management by Research – a programme aimed at honours and post-graduate students seeking to further build on their qualifications in a related field of study.

This programme is designed for students who are seeking specialisation in fundraising, advancement and partnerships. Students analytical and critical thinking skills will be sharpened in order to propel them as they progress in their career.

Masterclasses
Masterclasses are aimed at individuals who wish to develop expertise and strengthen their knowledge in the field of philanthropy and social investment on the African continent. It is designed for those who aspire to be change-makers in this field as well as for experienced professionals studying part-time for professional development.
As a delegate at one of our Masterclasses, you will gain an opportunity to attend a short class which focuses on only one area of interest. This ‘laser’ approach to learning suits busy professionals who are not able to attend longer courses.
