Projects & Programmes

CAPSI’s projects invite students, young people, partners, and wider publics into conversations and initiatives that advance African philanthropy and social innovation.

Adɔyɛ highlights women’s significant roles and impacts across philanthropy in Africa.

An annual forum where philanthropic institutions and stakeholders across the continent convene to share insights, reflect collectively, and advance the principles of philanthropy and social investment in Africa.

The Aspire Higher Project supports girls and young women in sub-Saharan Africa with access to sexual and reproductive health education. It combines HIV prevention with community-based solutions, and four finalists received seed funding to implement their ideas in South African communities.

The Conversations on African Philanthropy Podcast features leaders and change-makers whose work has shaped social investment and philanthropy in Africa. It supports social change by fostering a culture of effective giving, corporate social responsibility, and civic responsibility.

Kisima is a platform for sharing good giving stories from across Africa. It shows how Africans contribute to the public good collectively, while also mobilising resources for causes that matter.
