Who We Are
The Centre on African Philanthropy and Social Investment (CAPSI) is a pan-African centre advancing knowledge, partnerships, and innovation in philanthropy and social investment throughout the continent.
Through our programmes, short courses, research, publications, convenings, initiatives, and dialogues, we develop the next generation of African experts, researchers, and academics while strengthening the ideas, institutions, and networks that shape giving and social impact in Africa.
Based at Wits Business School, within one of Africa’s leading universities, we work with partners across Africa whose goals align with our vision for a stronger culture of giving and social impact.
