Research Communications Specialist

Zenaye Skosana is a communications, marketing, and events professional with experience across higher education, government, varies corporates, research, entrepreneurship development, and stakeholder engagement. She serves as a Research Communications Specialist at the Centre on African Philanthropy and Social Investment (CAPSI), Wits Business School, supporting strategic communications, digital platforms, research dissemination, publications, media engagement and events. Previously, Zenaye held communications, marketing and events leadership roles in the entrepreneurship development sector and gained experience at the University of the Witwatersrand. Her work combines strategic communications, content development, digital marketing, project management, and storytelling to make research and programmes accessible to diverse audiences. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts (Honours) from Wits and is pursuing a Master’s in Cultural Policy and Management. Her interests include research communication, social investment, philanthropy, cultural policy, and the creative industries. He is passionate about using communications and storytelling to amplify research, strengthen institutional visibility and connect knowledge with communities, practitioners and policymakers.
