Keratiloe Mogotsi

Dr Keratiloe Mogotsi is a Pan-Africanist, pracademic, researcher, Lean Innovation Coach, project management professional and African Philanthropy academic. She is currently an Assistant Professor, coach, advisor and mentor at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, USA. She has extensive experience across the corporate, government and non-profit sectors. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and a Lean Six Sigma Coach. She is also a registered member of ARNOVA (Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action), ISTR (International Society for Third-Sector Research) and IPASA (Independent Philanthropy Association of South Africa). Dr Mogotsi has led philanthropic projects, including as President of the Women in Nielsen’s CSI Initiative, African Heritage Programme Lead for MINDS (Mandela Institute for Development Studies), and Nielsen Cares Programme Lead in Africa. She teaches and provides advisory services to non-profit organisations.

Her research interests include sustainable development, disaster philanthropy in Africa, venture philanthropy, African philanthropy, Lean and Agile management in non-profits, and philanthro-capitalism in Africa. She is passionate about education and “kindling” greatness in people. As a passionate educator and coach, she is committed to excellence in everything she does. Her current and professional affiliations include Associate Dean & Assistant Professor at Chatham University, African Philanthropy Lecturer at Wits University, Founder of the Ofentse Mogotsi Trust NPO, Managing Director of South Serene Guest House, and Managing Partner at Neo Afrique Investments.
