Damaris Kamate

Damaris Kamate is in her second year of doctoral studies in Public Law and Political Science at the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences of Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech, Morocco. She holds a Master’s degree in Geopolitics and International Relations from the same institution. Her research focuses on Capacity Building of NGOs in Morocco as a lever for youth employability in the non-profit sector, with a comparative perspective including Mali.
With over four years of experience in the humanitarian sector, she currently serves as a Program Coordinator at the International Assistance Committee of the Evangelical Church in Morocco. In this role, she leads initiatives supporting vulnerable migrants, including food assistance, access to healthcare, and socio-economic empowerment programs.
Her work lies at the intersection of research and practice. Her areas of expertise and interest include non-profit sector development, youth employability, as well as philanthropy and social investment as drivers of sustainable social impact.
